Wilmington Venue Spotlight - Beau Rivage Ballroom
I had an opportunity to meet with Chelsea Malkmus, Director of Events at Beau Rivage Golf & Country Club in Wilmington, NC this week. Chelsea is somewhat new to Beau Rivage, but she is a seasoned wedding & event professional with experience in both small boutique venues as well as large resort and hotel venues.
I got a chance to tour the facility and grounds at Beau Rivage including the upstairs ballroom that features 4 distinct rooms that can all be used together to house a reception of up to 200 or individually for smaller more intimate events. The space has an open floorplan, so if you do decide to use all four rooms, your guests will get the impression that they are inside 1 large room. The room rental packages include tables, chairs and linen as well as set-up of your pre-determined room layout. There is a full kitchen next to the ballroom, which is very helpful when deciding on your menu with your chosen caterer. Chelsea can provide private event hosts with a list of recommended caterers and vendors to work with, but the choice is ultimately yours! So choose wisely!
I saw a lot of great things in this venue and a lot of potential for future events. Chelsea is so helpful and responsive, couples will no doubt feel at ease and in good hands throughout their planning process.
